Clayton has advised clients across a variety of industries for more than 20 years, including oil & gas, real estate, automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, rental equipment, waste management, financial services, and media. He has a great deal of experience in working with people at all levels of client organizations where he focuses on driving improved performance and implementing complex restructuring solutions. Clayton has advised on several large-scale restructurings, including Fieldwood Energy, Phoenix Services, Ditech Holdings, C&J Energy Services, Pacific Drilling, Refco, New Century and General Growth Properties. Previously, Clayton was CFO of a midstream oil & gas company in Midland, Texas.
Clayton holds an MBA from the University of Texas and a BBA from Southern Methodist University, and Clayton is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. Clayton enjoys giving back to the community as an active volunteer for Make-A-Wish and a youth sports coach in Houston, TX.
