Joon has 25 years of experience in consulting and senior executive roles in the medical device, retail, and consumer goods industries. He has overseen profit and loss in excess of $500 million and successfully led multiple operational-improvement and profit enhancement initiatives. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he served as vice president of procurement and operational excellence at a major retailer with more than 800 locations, as vice president of global business processes at a $10-billion distribution company, and as senior executive vice president of Asia region and global head of lean initiative at a $3-billion medical device company.
Joon has an MBA in operations and finance summa cum laude from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Science in information technology from Northwestern University.
