Jiayan brings over 14 years of experience as a consultant and senior manager in the industry. She has deep expertise in managing critical and high-risk situations, including regulatory enforcement actions, international dispute resolution, and interim management support.

She advises global clients on complex regulatory and compliance matters, including sanctions, export controls, anti-money laundering, financial statement fraud, corruption, and market conduct. Jiayan has led and supported assessments in response to major U.S. and European regulatory authorities, such as the Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Bureau of Industry Security (BIS), Department of Financial Services (DFS), European Central Bank (ECB), Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), and German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).

In arbitration and litigation, Jiayan has prepared expert witness reports as an accounting, damage, and compliance expert for submission to U.S. courts, the UK High Court, as well as to international arbitration centers, such as the German Arbitration Institute (DIS) and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).

In China, Jiayan also provides interim management support in critical situations, such as liquidity crises, management fraud, CEO/CFO transitions, and post-merger integration. Her expertise is built on prior in-house leadership roles, including Department Head of Controlling (Management Accounting) and Project Controlling Manager at subsidiaries of a DAX 30 company, complemented by operational experience gained as a strategy consultant in the automotive industry.

Jiayan holds a master’s degree from the Technical University of Munich and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Fluent in Chinese, German, and English, she excels in multicultural environments and cross-border collaborations.
