Joe has more than 25 years' experience in guiding businesses through financial distress and improving cash flow and bottom-line results. He has advised Boards, senior management teams, and creditors, leading a wide variety of engagements.

Key Engagements:

  • Operational turnarounds, including cost structure improvements, pricing strategies, and working capital optimization
  • Out-of-court debt restructurings
  • Preparing for and implementing chapter 11 restructurings

Joe has worked with companies across a variety of industries, including energy, mining, chemicals, discrete manufacturing, real estate, consumer products, retail and distribution, and technology and software. Prior to AlixPartners, he was with the finance organizations of Raytheon Company and the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. 

Joe holds a master’s degree in industrial administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
