He works closely with senior executives to deliver measurable performance improvement and sustainable growth across the consumer products, retail, automotive, heavy manufacturing, and construction sectors.
Before joining AlixPartners, John was with McKinsey & Company. Earlier in his career, he founded and led a successful Internet venture in Los Angeles, served as a B767 Fleet Manager at Delta Air Lines in Atlanta, and worked as an engineer at the U.S. Navy’s Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia—experiences that shaped his pragmatic, results-driven approach to leadership and execution.
John holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is fluent in English and Korean.
