Michael Wabnitz has 25+ years of professional experience and advises corporates, boards and financial investors in M&A transactions, CFO advisory, restructuring and transformations.
Michael heads AlixPartners M&A & Transaction Advisory in DACH and has managed a variety of sell- and buy-side M&A transaction projects, including lead advisory, carve-outs, post merger integration, due diligence and divestiture preparation with focus on value creation programs. Additionally, he has managed several transformation as well as restructuring programs with focus on value creation and EBITDA & Cash Flow optimization. Furthermore, he held interim management CFO roles.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Michael was Managing Director of Duff & Phelps and Partner at KPMG corporate finance.
Michael passed the German chartered accountant and tax advisor exam.
