Tao brings forensic accounting and investigation expertise in assisting clients to manage and resolve complex, high-impact and time-critical challenges, including regulatory investigations, allegations of fraud and corruption, accounting and reporting matters, and business disputes. Before specializing as a professional consultant, Tao gained longtime hands-on experience by serving in in-house compliance and audit roles at a global conglomerate, enabling him to apply commercial awareness and business sense while providing solutions to his clients’ challenging situations. He was also with the audit division of a Big Four accounting firm. Tao has a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honors in accounting and finance from Newcastle University in England. He is a certified public accountant in China. He is native in Mandarin and speaks fluent English.
