Cyber fraud is escalating fast in the UK

Another piece of evidence that cyber criminals are not taking a break during the pandemic. Quite the reverse ... the UK National Fraud & Cyber Security Centre is reporting a 400% increase in fraud reports. We recommend stepping up cyber risk management at this critical time, despite the other priorities, including:

•  Extra training and awareness for staff working remotely who may not be used to it
•  Careful attention to third party suppliers to make sure they are taking appropriate steps to protect themselves and your business
•  A rapid scan of your users and how they are managing connectivity, file sharing and network access from their homes.
