January 28, 2021

Earns 100% score on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Annual Scorecard on LGBTQ Workplace Equality

NEW YORK (January 28, 2021)—AlixPartners, proudly announced that for the fourth year in a row it has earned a perfect score of 100% on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), ranking AlixPartners among the HRC’s 2021 “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”

CEI is a national benchmarking survey that evaluates the LGBTQ-related corporate policies and practices of more than 1,000 companies, including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. As an employer who received a perfect score, AlixPartners continues to be among the ranks of companies who satisfy all of the CEI’s criteria and receive the designation “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”

“Our perfect score in this year’s Corporate Equality Index reflects our firm’s hard work and dedication to workplace equality and underscores our commitment to creating a more inclusive environment for everyone at AlixPartners,” said Simon Freakley, CEO of AlixPartners. “I am extremely proud that we have once again been recognized by the HRC as a top workplace for LGBTQ employees. Advancing diversity, inclusion, and equity is essential to being a great place to work.”

“Receiving 100 points on the HRC CEI is a great recognition of AlixPartners’ efforts to ensure our LGBTQ colleagues feel welcome and supported in the workplace,” said Filip Nemeth, a Senior Vice President at AlixPartners and PrideMatters Leader. “But 2020 reminded us our work is not over yet. We need to continue to drive for equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion—not just in the workplace but also in our communities. I thank our colleagues who devote their time and energy to those issues. They are truly making difference.”

Inclusion and diversity are fundamental to AlixPartners’ core values. In addition to the policies and procedures reviewed by HRC, AlixPartners has created the opportunity for team members from across the firm’s international footprint to participate in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to help foster an inclusive and diverse workplace that aligns with AlixPartners’ mission and core values. ERGs provide an official platform for learning and leadership development and cross-cultural business integration. Today, 60% of employees participate in our ERGs.
