Senior appointment strengthens AlixPartners’ EMEA healthcare and life sciences offering

AlixPartners, the global business advisory firm, today announces the appointment of the healthcare and life sciences specialist Dr. Andreas Vogt as a managing director in its healthcare and life sciences team. Andreas will be based out of the firm’s Zurich office.

Andreas has a wealth of healthcare and life sciences experience both as a practicing physician and as a senior strategy consultant. He has advised companies in the MedTech, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries in implementing turnaround and restructuring strategies and large transformational projects.

At AlixPartners, Andreas will use his expertise to support MedTech and healthcare companies through performance improvement programs and large transformations. Andreas joins AlixPartners from Deloitte Consulting, where he was a Healthcare and Life Sciences Partner and led the Strategy Consulting practice for Private Sector clients. Prior to this, he was a Principal and a member of the Swiss Management Team at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Zurich, building up the firm’s Swiss Pharma & Healthcare practice.

Before his career in strategy consulting, Andreas was a successful physician and received an MBA in Healthcare Management.
