AlixPartners acts as corporate finance advisor to Genuine Dining on its sale to Westbury Street Holdings (WSH)
London (25 September 2024) – AlixPartners, the global advisory and consulting firm, has advised Genuine Dining Co. (‘Genuine Dining’), a fast-growing premium catering and hospitality business on its successful sale to Westbury Street Holdings (‘WSH’), a family of independent hospitality brands across the UK, Ireland and Europe. Genuine Dining has been backed by Luke Johnson, working through Risk Capital Partners, since its inception in 2012.
Genuine Dining, based in London, is an established food and drink business providing hospitality to around 50 businesses across the UK. The Genuine Dining group also includes The Admirable Crichton, Amplify Guest Services and Signature Dining.
WSH employs over 26,000 people across the UK, Ireland and Europe and has been operating for more than 20 years. WSH serves customers in the Business & Industry, Education, and Concession & Hospitality catering segments through its portfolio of brands, which include (but not limited to) BaxterStorey, Benugo, Caterlink, Holroyd Howe, Portico, and Searcys.
This deal adds to market-leading M&A credentials of AlixPartners in this sector having previously advised on the M&A disposals of Pabulum, Vacherin, Harbour & Jones and The Brookwood Partnership. Beyond M&A, AlixPartners also works with corporate and private equity clients in this sector to help drive profit growth and digital transformation.
