
Asia in focus: Insights from AlixPartners’ 19th Annual Turnaround and Transformation Survey
NEW YORK (January 29, 2025) – AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, has further strengthened its Turnaround & Restructuring Services practice in Asia with appointment of Masashi Niwa as Partner & Managing Director in the Tokyo office.
Masashi has extensive global and regional experience in corporate management, analytical strategy development, and project management, regularly working with major Japanese and non-Japanese corporations on their cross-border investments. He specializes in corporate strategy development, post-merger integration, and turnaround and restructuring.
Masashi has engaged in turnaround and restructuring work, as well as value-up advisory for Japanese corporations’ overseas assets and operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has also supported strategic turnarounds and reorganizations of governance and business models and of the operations for major Japanese conglomerates, industrial products, electronics manufacturers, and automobile original equipment manufacturers.
