Julie Bon, former CMA Economist, joins AlixPartners in senior advisory role
LONDON (19th June 2025) - AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announces that Julie Bon, a highly respected expert competition economist, is joining the firm’s Economics Consulting practice in a senior advisory role. Julie was formerly the Deputy Chief Economist at the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
Bringing over 20 years of experience to the firm, Julie has a deep understanding of UK merger control and competition policy. At the CMA, Julie was responsible for the quality of the economic analysis across the full range of the CMA’s casework. In particular, she was responsible for the delivery of economic input across the CMA’s Phase 1 merger portfolio, as well as leading the economic analysis on many novel and high impact Phase 2 mergers and market studies and investigations.
In her advisory role at AlixPartners, Julie will work closely with the firm’s case teams to support clients, with a particular focus on mergers and competition investigations.
