Frank’s expertise encompasses providing assistance for distressed and underperforming companies and their creditors in all areas of operational and financial restructuring, including interim management, performance improvement, organizational redesign, contingency planning, divestitures, and working-capital management.

Key Engagements and Career Highlights:

  • Served as chief restructuring officer (CRO) of Vice Media, a global digital media and broadcasting company known for producing edgy, youth-oriented news, culture, and entertainment content across multiple platforms.
  • Served as CRO of Southland Royalty Company, an upstream oil & gas company based in Ft Worth, TX operating in the San Juan and Greater Green River basins.  
  • Served as CRO/CTO of Energy Corporation of America, a West Virginia-based oil and natural gas, exploration, production, and midstream company, managing their restructuring process and ultimate sale to Arclight Capital.  Efforts included streamlining field operating expense and reducing overhead expense by roughly 50%.
  • Served as CRO for Welded Construction, a mainline pipeline construction firm.  Responsible for driving negotiations with sureties, existing customers and other stakeholders in connection with the in-court restructuring process and ultimate wind down and liquidation of the company’s assets/equipment. 
  • Assisted a large public utility in reaching its externally committed EPS targets and played a central role in revising their go-forward budget and planning process to ensure demonstrable and consistent earnings growth in future years.
  • Advised a global consumer products company to revise its business plan, identify over $50M in pricing and cost improvement opportunities, optimize cash management and negotiate a recapitalization.
