With over 20 years of industry and consulting experience, Michael works collaboratively with global energy, chemical, industrial and technology companies to drive sustained operational and financial performance improvement.  He has extensive experience supporting private equity and industry leaders address their most challenging strategic decisions and drive a lasting step-change in performance.

Michael is a creative problem solver with deep experience in digital transformation and capital productivity, including CapEx strategy, portfolio management and project optimization. Prior to joining AlixPartners, Michael led an internal consulting team at Dell to deliver a multi-year digital transformation, including a custom ERP platform and improved sales and operations planning and forecasting capabilities. Prior to that, he was a leader in McKinsey & Co.’s Operations Practice, and has led many large-scale initiatives for power, utilities, chemical, metals, transportation, aerospace and defense and technology clients.

Michael has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas.  He serves clients globally, has lived extensively in Asia and speaks Mandarin.
