Erik led Strategy and M&A for a $2.5 billion specialty vehicle OEM as well as Strategy and Operations for a $5 billion tier 1 auto supplier prior to joining AlixPartners.  He brings a strategic but practical approach to helping clients build competitive advantage and deliver a step change in shareholder value through growth and operational improvement.

His clients benefit from more than 20 years of diverse experience in serving as an executive in corporate and consulting roles in the automotive, industrial, and technology industries across the areas of general management, strategy, corporate development, engineering, and operations. He takes a hands-on approach to organizational leadership—from the boardroom to the shop floor by executing significant change via transformation and both organic and inorganic growth.

He drove the transformation of a $5 billion tier 1 auto supplier from negative to $200 million EBIT over three years through footprint restructuring, divesting non-core businesses, and commercial actions.  He then led the creation of a global $9 billion joint venture to build the #1 competitor in its segment.

Erik is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management MBA program and has a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
