Alan has 30 years of combined industry and consulting experience in the delivery of strategic, profit improvement and cost reduction projects for global manufacturing companies, serving clients across the transportation, industrial products, and consumer products sectors. Prior to consulting, he was engaged in product development at Ford Motor Company, managing the North American product plan, supporting the integration of Ford's European operations (Ford, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover), and serving as an engineer in the areas of vehicle dynamics and body structure design and release. Most recently, Alan has led projects focused on strategic sourcing, operational improvement, and due diligence. Alan has a Master of Science in engineering from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
