Ian has more than 12 years’ experience through professional engagements in financial restructurings, M&A transactions, and refinancings. Ian’s hands-on experience is in the areas of short-term cash flow forecasting, business planning, development of integrated financial models, preparation of investor communications, project management of valuations and vendor due diligence, preparation of board meeting materials, and presenting to board committees. Clients have benefited from Ian’s application of extensive expertise in the management of many European transactions by performing debt capacity modeling, due diligence, and postdeal value chain transformation. He has worked across various industries such as retail, healthcare, hotels, residential and office construction, infrastructure development, oil & gas services, fintech, and commodities. Ian also has extensive experience in postdeal value delivery by helping investors protect and unlock value in their portfolio companies by his providing senior management and strategic guidance. Ian has a Master of Engineering (Hons) in civil engineering from the University of Warwick.
