Maxx has more than a decade of disputes and valuations consulting experience for litigation, deals, compliance, and general consulting purposes. In this role, Maxx has prepared valuation analyses for mediation, tax, financial reporting, and general negotiation purposes. Maxx has also provided valuation consulting services for bankruptcy / solvency matters and in support of experts as part of litigation disputes. Additionally, Maxx has assisted clients by providing strategic valuation solutions to tax needs, such as multinational legal entity valuations and IRC 1060 purchase price allocations, as well as financial reporting needs, such as ASC 805/IFRS 3 purchase price allocations and goodwill impairment analyses. Finally, Maxx has provided strategic forecasting modeling experience in both deal and non-deal situations.

- Served clients in a number of industries including automotive, healthcare technology, information technology, technology hardware, industrial and manufacturing, retail & consumer goods, real estate services, and transportation / logistics, among others.
- Estimated the values of businesses, financial instruments, lost profits, etc. to assess damages as part of litigation disputes.
- Defended valuation analyses in the context of reviews performed by various parties including but not limited to opposing experts, tax authorities, and auditors.
- Valued business interests for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, as well as for tax, and general corporate planning purposes.
- Intangible assets valued include trade names and trademarks, franchising agreements, IPR&D, proprietary and patented technology, software, customer relationships, customer contracts, and noncompetition agreements for the purposes of purchase price allocations, financial reporting, and tax planning.
- Performed strategic forecasting modeling to provide clients with insights for tax and general corporate planning purposes.
