Thorsten Lips (1972) is a Partner at AlixPartners. He began his career in 1998 as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Düsseldorf. After a six-year tenure at the Malik Management Centre in St. Gallen, Switzerland, he assumed responsibility as a Partner at Horváth for cross-industry, global accountability for pricing, sales, service and marketing – with a focus on Industrials and Automotive. At AlixPartners, his focus is similarly on Industrials (building technology/building automation, building materials, machinery and plant engineering, electrical & electronics, automation technology, etc.) and Automotive. Functionally, his experience centers on the realization of profitable revenue growth. This includes topics such as pricing, commercial excellence, go-to-market strategy and service excellence.
