Stephan is renowned for his dynamic approach to restructuring, FDI, organizational transformation, post-merger integration, national-level strategies, and M&A, having successfully led numerous high-impact projects across multiple sectors.
Before joining AlixPartners, Stephan was a Senior Partner and Managing Director at Roland Berger LLC in Qatar. He was pivotal in establishing the firm's presence in the country, growing the office from its inception to a sizeable team of professionals. His hands-on, collaborative leadership style, and focus on generating impact and strategic insights made him a key driver of growth across the Middle East as part of the regional leadership team.
Throughout his career, Stephan has successfully managed more than 100 projects for a wide range of clients in sectors such as logistics & transportation, foreign direct investment, maritime, public sector, technology, media, telecommunications, healthcare, agriculture, free zones, wealth funds, and financial services. His expertise extends to national strategy development, target operating models, independent business reviews, performance improvement, restructuring, and synergy assessments.
At AlixPartners, Stephan will be heavily involved in operations across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, focusing on expanding the firm's footprint in Doha, Riyadh, and Dubai.
