As a seasoned consultant, he has a proven track record in executing corporate turnarounds and strategic transformations. Clients have benefited from his deep expertise in financial analysis, which he leverages to gain data-driven insights, identify cost levers, and drive value creation. His extensive knowledge of the Chinese automotive market allows him to help companies effectively navigate today’s complex transformation.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, he held various positions in the industry and consulting, including roles with Volkswagen and Porsche Consulting in Europe and China.
Bastian has a Master of Science in economics and management from Leibniz University of Hannover. He is a lecturer at Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft, teaching corporate strategy.
