Marie possesses more than a decade of expertise in forensic investigations and counsel on managing reputational risks. Prior to her tenure at a Big Four firm, she dedicated six years to leading investigations as a public prosecutor. At AlixPartners, she leads internal investigations within organizations, addressing instances of economic crime and regulatory violations. In addition, she provides guidance on the implementation of concrete remediation measures for future compliance.
Marie advises executive boards and supervisory bodies, as well as the heads of compliance, legal and human resources departments. Her practical experience spans numerous industries, with particular focus on the automotive, financial, and private equity sectors.
She frequently participates in panel discussions and speaks at seminars. She holds a lecturing position in the Faculty of Business at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz.
Marie is a fully qualified lawyer and a scholarship recipient of the German National Academic Foundation.
