Jakob brings a range of expertise in the aerospace, defense & aviation sectors, with an emphasis on supply chain cost & performance management, manufacturing improvement, footprint optimization and the planning and execution of complex M&A activities. He also brings experience serving in an interim management capacity.
His experience in advisory ranges from advising the largest private equity firms to a number of publicly traded companies, as well as governmental organizations. He is able to bring together data and facts from across complex organizations and where there is significant uncertainty to drive value for clients.
Trained as an engineer, Jakob spent the first 5 years of his career with RTX Corporation and its Collins Aerospace segment. He is a seasoned non-profit director, most notably as a former Governor of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and holds US, Canadian and British citizenship.
