Anna is a strategic advisor specializing in Digital assets, AI, Web3, tokenization, business and regulatory strategy. She advises Boards, C-suite executives, financial institutions, asset owners, market infrastructure providers, investors, liquidators, governments, policymakers, regulators, industry bodies and chambers of commerce on regional and global financial business models, policy and regulatory development in Digital Assets, Web 3, AI, Data Centres and Traditional Finance.
Previously, Anna served as the Head of Compliance, APAC, with additional responsibility for Legal & Company Secretariat (Co Sec) APAC at Galaxy. She also held Board Director positions across four Galaxy entities in International (ex US), Hong Kong, Singapore, Italy overseeing business, trading and sales activities outside the US across APAC, Middle East, Europe and the UK. In this role, she led the strategy and execution of APAC Compliance, Legal, and Co Sec functions, providing leadership that enabled compliant, scalable, and fast-paced commercial growth across the regions.
With more than 20 years of international experience in roles covering up to $180 bln in client assets, Anna brings deep expertise in designing and implementing compliance, legal, risk management frameworks, regulatory engagements, strategic business growth and planning, investigations, front office trading and treasury management, programme management, complex business process assessment, technology effectiveness, innovation, and blockchain solutions.
Prior to Galaxy, Anna held senior leadership roles across Compliance & Legal, Financial Crime (AML, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Fraud), Risk and Front Office Trading within Asset Management, Banking, Insurance, Private Equity, and Wealth Management spanning APAC, EMEA, Middle East and US.
At AlixPartners, Anna leads and specializes in Digital Assets, Asset Management, Banking, Insurance and Private Equity in APAC and the Middle East. Anna is an active member and key contributor to leading industry associations, including Hong Kong Web3 Harbour (digital assets industry association), AIMA, ASIFMA, and the FinTech Association. She has also served as Co-Chair of the ASIFMA Asset Management & Private Equity Regulatory Committee (APAC) and was a member of the ASIFMA Asset Management Group Committee (comprised primarily of CEOs) and the HKIFA. Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management and is a Certified AML Professional.
