She helps clients unlock organizational potential by designing and executing comprehensive headcount‑reduction and reorganization strategies—from initial concept development and savings identification through to full operational delivery.
She has led complex transformation engagements across industries, including global workforce reduction programs, targeted cost‑reduction initiatives, and site closures. Verena works closely with HR leaders and labor lawyers to define and deliver strategic workforce objectives, managing both voluntary separation programs and operational dismissals while safeguarding business continuity. Her experience spans a broad range of restructuring levers, including reduction instruments, communication strategies, works‑council negotiations, and sensitive employee separation discussions.
In addition, Verena brings strong private‑equity experience, having supported multiple due‑diligence processes across industries and advised PE investors on critical workforce‑ and transformation‑related aspects of investment decisions.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Verena worked as a manager at goetzpartners, where she led the firm’s workforce transformation practice.
