Dr. Sebastian Vicedom helps private equity sponsors, boards, and management teams drive value creation across the deal lifecycle and in complex transformation situations. He brings more than 15 years of experience leading large-scale transformation programs as well as strategy and M&A work across multiple industries.
Sebastian advises clients on full potential assessments, value creation planning, cost-down programs, organizational and operating model redesign, and transaction-related topics including commercial and operational due diligence, post-merger integration, and carve-outs. He joined AlixPartners after several years as Group Head of Strategy, Transformation and M&A at a pan-European private banking group, where he led enterprise-wide transformation programs, redesigned organizational structures, executed multiple acquisitions and divestitures, and gained significant hands-on experience in workforce transformation.
Earlier in his career, Sebastian was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he worked extensively with private equity investors as well as industrial and financial services clients across Europe. He holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Finance from the Technical University of Munich.
