He began his career with the U.S. Air Force specializing in welding and machining of aerospace alloys.
Career highlights:
- Led rapid transformation workstream at a large defense contractor, focused on installing a management operating system, and implementing a Lean transformation resulting in an increase in throughput of 50% in 3 months.
- Led operational assessment and performance improvement initiatives for a turbine jet engine tubing manufacturer. Increased revenue from a $37M to $48M run rate by implementing lean manufacturing principles, a tiered management reporting structure, and integrated S&OP processes.
- Led an ODD workstream to develop a POV on operational maturity across a multi-site aerospace component manufacturing company. Developed a complete bottom-up assessment for a 5-year plan to increase throughput from $411m to $750m through productivity improvement, CapEx spend, and targeted headcount increases.
- Assisted with the implementation of a Maintenance Excellence program for a $250mm specialty chemicals manufacturing company. Developed KPIs, comprehensive preventative maintenance program, and critical asset care plan with targeted maintenance savings of $2.2mm - $3.0mm.
- Led Operational Excellence workstream for a $1bb merger to increase throughput of a key facility to facilitate a rebalancing of the global supply chain for a specialty chemical product with targeted savings of $4.3mm.
