Andrew Herz is a Director within AlixPartners’ Energy, Process & Industrials (EPI) practice. In this role, he helps lead strategic, operational, and financial performance improvement initiatives for the firm’s EPI clients, with a focus on sourcing and procurement value levers.
Andrew has broad experience across energy production, utilities and renewables, chemicals, construction, manufacturing and industrial services. Within these segments he specializes in helping clients to optimize spend, manage supply chain and materials risk, integrate via M&A, refine operating models and improve procurement operations. His work spans both non-tech and tech-enabled transformation efforts across the source to pay lifecycle.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Andrew held progressively responsible roles with McKinsey & Company and Deloitte, where he led procurement transformation, cost take out and performance improvement programs primarily for clients with capital-intensive operations.
Andrew is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Champion and holds an MBA from Florida Atlantic University and a BS from The University of Central Florida.
