Saumya serves clients in accounting, finance, and litigation disputes by resolving complex and often urgent business matters.
Saumya has led a wide variety of financial, accounting, valuation, litigation, and bankruptcy engagements. Her litigation and disputes experience includes analyzing economic damages (lost profits, reasonable royalties, unjust enrichment, diminution in value, and disgorgement), business valuations, solvency analyses, purchase price disputes, and representation and warranties claims. In addition to litigation consulting, her clients have benefited from her help in their responses to government investigations and allegations under the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and securities regulations.
Saumya has been qualified as an expert and has testified in the Delaware Court of Chancery, presented damages claims to insurance carriers, and supported expert testimony in matters before U.S. federal and state courts, bankruptcy court, JAMS arbitration, international arbitration, and AAA arbitration.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Saumya worked in the forensics practice at PwC.
