David is a founding member of the firm’s global Data Privacy and Security practice. He is expert in digital investigations, cryptocurrency forensics and data privacy and security. As a former AmlLaw100 Commercial Litigator, he has more than 25 years of experience assisting companies in complex litigation and regulatory investigations, including data breaches, compliance audits, and computer forensic investigations. His deep understanding of the law combined with his technical expertise make him ideally suited to lead complex investigations and provide expert advice and testimony. He is a Certified Cryptocurrency Fraud Examiner (CCFE), an Infrastructure Liaison Officer (ILO) in the US DOJ/FBI Infragard program, an active member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and the American Society of Digital Forensics & eDiscovery (ASDFED), and a Certified Data Privacy Professional (CIPP/US & CIPP/EU). He is also a registered Patent Attorney with the USPTO and holds legal degrees from both the US and UK. He also has extensive experience working throughout the APAC region and advising clients on data privacy and security issues there.
