Charlie is a seasoned antitrust economist with almost 15 years of experience working with clients in Asia and Europe. He is the leader of AlixPartners’ Chinese Economics Practice and has worked on a number of high-profile cases for Asian clients on antitrust investigations, follow-on-damages claims, and antitrust-related intellectual property cases.
In the UK and Europe, he has extensive experience of litigation in the English High Court and the UK Competition Appeals Tribunal and has also worked on regulatory cases, antitrust investigations and mergers.
He has submitted reports to antitrust and regulatory authorities including the SAMR, EC, CMA and FCA.
Charlie joined AlixPartners in 2015. Previously, he was with the Ofcom and Charles River Associates.
Charlie has a PhD and MSc in Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics and the University of Bristol respectively. He divides his time between London and Shanghai and speaks fluent Mandarin and English.
