Juan has over twelve years of professional experience encompassing cross-cultural turnaround, working capital management, liquidity forecasting, performance improvement strategies, and diverse aspects of corporate restructuring for under-performing companies. 

Juan is recognized as a dynamic and empathetic leader with a proven track record of fostering collaboration and driving impactful change.

His consultancy background spans engagements with companies covers across a wide spectrum of sectors including utilities, E&P, media, transportation, non-banking sector, and service industries. 

Most recently, Juan has been assisting the largest Mexican non-bank financial institution in its restructuring process, including the development of the business plan, liquidity management, and contingency planning for Concurso Mercantil proceeding.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Juan worked for Alvarez & Marsal in both the London and Mexico City offices, where he collaborated with clients tackle operational, strategic, and financial challenges. He holds a master's degree in finance from Bayes Business School in London and is proficient in both English and Spanish.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Juan is an avid traveler and enjoys immersing himself in different cultures, further enhancing his cross-cultural acumen and global perspective. He also loves reading and doing calisthenics.
