Leon has over a decade of financial advisory experience, guiding companies and their stakeholders through complex operational and financial restructurings.
Leon has fulfilled several major assignments in Europe and America, developing cash flow projections, managing liquidity, identifying and implementing working capital and EBITDA improvement initiatives and presenting business plans. Leon has taken on interim roles, within FP&A and financial control, and previously worked at EY and on the equity sales desk at Macquarie.
Key Engagements:
- Advised Grupo Aeroméxico on the development of its five-year business plan in support of its refinancing process during the successful Chapter 11 reorganization; recognized by Ishka: Aviation Finance as the 2022 Restructuring Deal of the Year
- Advised Chinos Holdings, Inc (J. Crew) on in its successful Chapter 11 reorganization, including advising on the real estate portfolio, liquidation analysis and bankruptcy reporting requirements
- Identified $5M of SG&A cost reduction initiatives and $20M working capital improvement following the merger of 2 Automotive Remarketing companies
- Led the project management office in tracking and forecasting the financial impact of savings initiatives during the operational turnaround of a $5B financial technology group
