Michael Baur is a Global Vice Chair at AlixPartners and has previously held several leadership positions, including German Country Leader, global Co-Leader of our Turnaround & Restructuring Services practice, and Head of EMEA.
Michael's main client focus is to lead underperforming companies through complex Accelerated Value Creation programs as a senior advisor or manager (in the roles of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Restructuring Officer, or Chief Financial Officer). He recently served as Chief Restructuring Officer and executive board member at the multi-billion global tier-one automotive supplier BENTELER. His industry expertise covers the sectors Automotive, Industrial Goods, Energy, Retail, Consumer Goods, Telecom, and Media.
Michael is a founding member of the German Turnaround Management Association which he currently serves as an executive board member.
