With ~13 years of professional experience in consulting, private equity and the military, he particularly excels in the fields of business strategy & transformation, topline & margin boost, SG&A performance & cost-out, organizational transformation, due diligence & post-merger integrations - all with a high degree of implementation guidance and interim leadership. He has worked across various industries with special emphasis on private equity-owned companies typically reporting directly to the executive board and/or shareholder.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Manuel worked as a strategy and operations consultant across Europe and gained further experience with the private equity firms Aurelius, BID Equity and HgCapital. Additionally, he became Lieutenant in the military and served on leadership assignments in Germany, Austria and the USA.
Manuel holds an MBA from INSEAD (specialization in strategy, finance, entrepreneurship, and private equity), a Master of Advanced International Studies with distinction in economics and finance from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, and a magister’s degree with distinction from the Theresian Military Academy and the US Military Academy (West Point).
