Pippa has spent 40 years combining a variety of line management roles, including CEO, COO, CFO and CRO (Chief Restructuring Officer), with extensive advisory experience for companies not achieving their full potential or requiring significant transformation, turnaround or restructuring. 

Pippa co-founded AlixPartners Europe and, after a series of role in industry, returned as a Senior Advisor to AlixPartners.

Pippa has led significant transformations and turnarounds and taken senior roles, including: 

  • Chief Financial Officer Courtaulds Textiles plc 
  • CEO FT Knowledge (a Pearson plc subsidiary)
  • Chief Operating Officer/Chief Restructuring Officer MFI plc 
  • CEO ILVA
  • Deputy CEO Co-op Group 
  • Executive Director of John Lewis, part of the John Lewis Partnership. 

Pippa is also currently a non-executive Director of The Metropolitan Police, London and the HALO Trust, the world’s largest land mine and weapons & arms management humanitarian charity. She is also a Trustee of the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), the UK’s largest multi-academy schools group. 

Previous non-executive Directorships include Arcadia plc, Hilton International plc, Ladbrokes plc, Hays plc, the Foreign Office and Chair of the Foundation Council at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. 

Pippa has an MA from Oxford University and a Diploma in Corporate Finance from London Business School. She is Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) Accredited Mediator.
