Torsten is a certified project manager with extensive experience in managing complex and time-critical transformation projects in international environments.
He has more than 20 years of experience in procurement, transformation, outsourcing, and automation and optimization projects across a range of industries, including industrial goods, manufacturing, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, and IT. Clients benefit from Torsten’s creative eye on supply chain and process and production technique improvements where, together with the supplier and a client’s R&D or design team, he identifies areas of improvement and drives their implementations.
He was formerly a director in Alvarez & Marsal’s corporate transformation services practice, where he helped build and establish the firm’s procurement team in Europe. He was also with global IT provider Unisys, where he managed critical IT projects.
Torsten has a Diploma in engineering management from Technische Universität Berlin and a Graduate Diploma in organizational communication from Queensland University of Technology.
