Study: For dining occasions, fast casual to be hit hardest in 2018

Fast food has surpassed fast casual as the preferred spot for lunch, with just 32 percent of diners in this year’s survey picking fast casual as their preferred location for lunch. This number is down from 37 percent from AlixPartners' survey from one year ago.
