Joel has nearly 25 years of financial services experience focused primarily on financial restructuring with expertise in managing and navigating complex transformations.

He has advised diverse businesses across numerous industry sectors by providing advisory services for debtors, creditors, investor groups, and other stakeholders in both in-court and out-of-court turnarounds and financial restructurings.

Joel’s additional focus areas include lender advisory, UCC advisory, board advisory, special investigations, wind-downs, valuation matters, litigation matters and performance improvement.

His background includes liquidity management, business plan development, contingency planning, Ch. 11 Plan development, sales process diligence, vendor management, and cost savings initiatives.

Joel has an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a BA in economics from Boston College.
