Jan brings 15+ years of global business experience spanning retail line management and top-tier strategy and turnaround consulting, with a focus on operational restructuring, value creation, operating model redesign, cost reduction, store footprint optimization, and change management.

Prior to AlixPartners, he served as Head of Pricing and Head of Business Development at Metro Germany, building expertise in margin optimization, top-line growth, pricing & promotion strategies, due diligence, and organizational change.

Jan holds an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business (University of Pittsburgh) and an MSc in Business from the European Business School Oestrich-Winkel.
