Jan has 14 years of global business experience both as a retail line manager and in top strategy as well as turnaround consulting with special focus on operational restructuring incl. footprint & store process optimization, performance improvement programs, operating model re-design as well as change management.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, he was Head of Pricing and Head of Business Development at Metro Germany and has expertise in the areas of margin optimization, top-line growth, pricing & promotion strategies, due diligence, and organizational change. He was also with OC&C Strategy Consultants, where he ultimately led projects in the retail industry as a senior manager.

Jan has an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science in Business from the European Business School Oestrich-Winkel.
