Thomas is a results-driven executive with 20 years’ experience as a marketing leader and go-to-market expert. He drives growth and bottom-line impact by setting C-level executives’ agendas, building high-performing teams, and delivering results in a hands-on, data-driven, and collaborative fashion. Prior to AlixPartners, he led marketing for Wayfair’s specialty retail and luxury brands ($1 billion sales, $100 million ad spend), which enabled him to build a deep understanding of direct-to-consumer marketing for digital-native businesses. He also was a partner and associate director at the Boston Consulting Group, where he specialized in the areas of pricing and go-to-market. In addition to the United States, Thomas has lived and worked in Europe, Australia, and Asia. Thomas has a PhD in marketing and behavioral research from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany.
