Yusuke has spent more than 20 years supporting large corporations in Japan, the United States, and across Asia through complex situations such as structural transformation, acquisitions, divestitures, carve‑outs, and post‑investment value creation. His industry experience covers private equity funds, technology, manufacturing, retail and consumer products, and general trading companies.
In recent years, he has led target operating model design and implementation projects for major Japanese corporations. In particular, he has a strong track record of redefining the optimal operating model, often in combination with M&A, and supporting large‑scale organizational transformations for major companies that operate multiple businesses globally.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, he worked at PwC Consulting, where he led numerous restructuring and performance improvement projects for portfolio companies of global PE funds, as well as many cross‑border PMI, business integration, and carve‑out projects involving Japanese and other Asian companies.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a concentration in economics from the University of Tsukuba. He is also a frequent speaker at seminars and a regular contributor to economic newspapers on topics related to cross‑border M&A and business integration.
