Dustin is a Partner and Managing Director in the Investigations, Compliance & Privacy practice at AlixPartners, and is based in Washington D.C. and New York City. Dustin enjoys being on the front lines with clients to develop solutions to their most challenging accounting, regulatory, investigative, compliance, and litigation problems.

Dustin is an accomplished forensic accountant with more than 20 years of experience as an investigator, regulator, and auditor. He specializes in planning, designing, and executing investigations and compliance projects for public and non-public companies, broker-dealers, and private equity and hedge fund investment advisers. He routinely coordinates with and presents the results of AlixPartners' work to regulators, law enforcement, and management and board committees.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Dustin served for a decade in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where he developed valuable subject matter expertise and conducted a wide range of investigations involving financial accounting, issuer disclosure, internal controls, insider trading, complex offering frauds, and private fund investment advisers. Dustin also testified in multiple U.S. District Courts on behalf of the Commission and, through his work at the SEC, has substantial experience in working with criminal law enforcement and other regulators, including the PCAOB and CFPB.
