Yalini is a Director in the Investigations, Compliance & Privacy practice at AlixPartners, and is based in London. She specializes in advising and helping clients on operational and regulatory risk management matters.
Yalini has more than 20 years of experience working with financial services firms, and recently served as the interim Chief Risk Officer for a UK-regulated bank, where she oversaw the remediation of its principal risk exposures, subsequent operating model transformation and directly engaged with the UK financial services regulators to demonstrate cohesive governance, effective operational risk management and compliance across the business.
Yalini leads the design and implementation of enterprise risk management frameworks, in addition to developing and embedding risk culture change programs. She has also led several regulatory examinations and investigations related to compliance with current and emerging regulatory requirements.
Yalini has a postgraduate diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA), a degree and PhD in Chemistry from Oxford University, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Yale University.
