Dennis is a Partner at AlixPartners based in Munich, focused exclusively on advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. With nearly two decades of experience spanning management consulting, interim leadership, and operator roles in industry, he advises across the full deal lifecycle: from Operational and Carve-out Due Diligence at entry through value creation, rapid cost-down, and performance improvement during the hold period.
Dennis brings particular depth in situations that require more than conventional advisory support. Where the mandate demands it, he assumes managerial responsibility ad-interim, having served in roles including Chief Transformation Officer and interim CFO for PE-owned businesses. His track record spans complex carve-outs from diversified industrials and chemicals conglomerates, turnarounds of technology and business services companies, large-scale G&A cost reduction programs, or buy-and-build integrations.
His client work spans US and European large- and upper mid-cap sponsors, with engagements covering transactions from sub-EUR 1bn to multi-billion enterprise values across sectors including professional and IT services, software, industrial products, and chemicals. He has worked across all major geographies in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Prior to AlixPartners, Dennis was a Partner at another consulting firm, and has held interim management and operating roles in industry. He holds a Diploma in finance and statistics from the University of Mannheim and is an alumnus of London Business School.
