Throughout his career, Shane has led transformations that improved financial performance, operational effectiveness, and organizational health. His experience includes developing a recovery plan for distressed hospitals that addressed a 22% operating loss, identifying more than $50 million in cost savings opportunities for a regional healthcare provider, delivering a 12% reduction in cost-to-collect through revenue cycle transformation, supporting a $700 million securitization transaction through operational due diligence, and helping healthcare organizations redesign operating models that generated millions in EBITDA improvement. He has also served as an expert witness on revenue cycle and healthcare integration matters.
Before joining AlixPartners, Shane spent more than a decade at Huron Consulting Group, where he advised healthcare organizations on operational improvement, revenue cycle transformation, organizational design, labor optimization, and strategic growth initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Finance from Miami University and is an inactive Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
