At AlixPartners, David co-leads the Food and Drug team within the Retail Practice, where he focuses on delivering impactful solutions to complex client challenges and driving growth opportunities across the industry.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, David held leadership roles at McKinsey & Company and Alvarez & Marsal, where he built and scaled successful grocery practices. At McKinsey, he led the Americas grocery practice for four years, doubling its revenues by implementing innovative commercial processes. At Alvarez & Marsal, he served as one of the first Retail and Consumer Partners, expanding the business sevenfold in less than four years while spearheading marketing and scaling initiatives.
David is deeply specialized in grocery operations, including retail operations, labor cost optimization, and digital transformation. His expertise extends to merchandising, supply chain management, and M&A, making him a trusted advisor for clients seeking to navigate complex challenges and seize growth opportunities. His extensive network among regional grocers and large-scale food and mass retailers uniquely positions him to deliver impactful client outcomes.
He is a graduate of West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
