Florent has ten years of experience working both in consulting and within a corporate development team.​

Prior to joining AlixPartners as SVP, Florent worked in Transaction Services for six years and carried out numerous engagements for Private Equity funds as well as large corporates.​

He then worked for two years as an M&A manager in one of the largest French banks, collaborating with top management and gaining experience on the buy-side, executing and negotiating acquisitions as well as asset divestments. He also assisted executives in their strategic considerations, such as company creation.

He holds a Master's in Management focusing on finance from EDHEC Business School and a Master’s degree in engineering from ESIEE Engineering School.

  • Built a pragmatic value creation plan for a private equity-owned mid-cap company, unlocking levers on organization, direct and indirect costs equivalent to ~15% EBITDA improvement.
  • Developed a cost savings program for a private equity-owned mid-cap aerospace & defense company, unlocking levers on indirect costs equivalent to ~10% EBITDA improvement.
  • Supported the CEO of a chemical industry player in the strategic and operational assessment of an M&A process decision concerning a Japan-based equipment manufacturing entity.
  • Contributed to a JV project for leading aerospace and defense companies, conducting strategic reviews, VDD, and business plan modeling.
  • Led the divestiture of two factories in the U.S. and Thailand for a global leader in the chemical industry, managing the entire competitive process with multiple strategic buyers. Reviewed and managed integration topics (HR organization, IT, TSA, LSA, and IP management).
