Gaber is an economist at AlixPartners Risk Practice based in London. He has over a decade of experience in antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions, competition and market investigations, and other conduct and abuse proceedings.
Gaber has a track record of delivering impactful, insightful analysis under high-stakes conditions, trusted to guide strategy in multi-jurisdictional cases. His work spans a variety of industries with a focus on financial services, and includes presenting cases before the EC, CMA, DOJ, and more.
He is described by clients and colleagues as an innovative problem solver, anticipating next moves and framing intricate economic analysis into compelling, persuasive arguments. He is committed to honest counsel, being clear with risks and what is achievable to build long-term trust through reliability and excellence.
Prior to joining CRA, Gaber worked as a competition economist at the Financial Conduct Authority (the UK financial regulator) as well as the Competition & Markets Authority. He is fluent in English and Slovenian.
Outside of cases, he teaches coordinated merger effects and non-horizontal merger assessment for the Postgraduate Diploma in Economics for Competition Law at King’s College London.
